Sunholidays is governed by Portuguese laws and its amendments and subject to the jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.
As Ao Rubro Publicidade & Marketing is an intermediary company providing services between the hotel unit and the customer that rents it, billing for each reservation will be processed according to the legislation in force, and the hotel unit or representative thereof will be issued
directly to the customer the invoice referring to the rental.
How to Book:
The reservation must be made through email to Sunholidays:
In order for the reservation to be confirmed, a non-refundable deposit of up to 100% of the total stay is requested.
The deposit amount will depend of the unit that you will wish to book.
Pre-booking of any accommodation will be held for a maximum of 72 hours.
In that period of time you must pay the deposit of the reservation (by Bank Transfer or providing the credit card data) send the proof of payment by email (if it is effected by Bank Transfer).
Upon receipt of the deposit will be sent the booking confirmation by email, with all the information necessary to check in.
The final payment of the reservation must be made on the day of arrival, in the hotel unit and, in many cases, in cash.
Group bookings may be refused.
It is your responsibility to make sure that your identification documents are valid and comply with legal regulations and it is crucial that you bring them with you.
Change of Reservation:
If for any reason you need to change your reservation (accommodation, dates), you should do by email as soon as possible, but without any guarantee that we can do so.
Capacity of the accommodation:
Only the number of people that do not exceed the maximum capacity of the accommodation is accepted.
There is room for an extra charge for each extra person (adult or child and only in accommodation that allow it).
If you wish to cancel your confirmed reservation, please send it by email.
Plus we remind you that the amount paid up to the cancellation date is not refundable.
In the event that it is necessary for Sunholidays to cancel its reservation, for reasons of force majeure, Sunholidays will reimburse the deposit paid in advance.
Any event in which Portugal or the hotel unit can not foresee or avoid, such as situations of war, civil strife, strikes, hostilities, social problems, political and governmental actions, natural disasters, atmospheric conditions
, flight alterations and cancellations, terrorist activities, technical problems beyond our control.
With the exception of the points indicated, we regret but there will be no possible damages due to force majeure.
Check In and Check Out:
The check-in and check-out times at the various hotel units vary, but in most cases the check-in is after 3 pm and on the day of check-out until 10 o'clock.
If your stay lasts beyond these hours, portugalferias reserves the right to charge an extra night.
Please be informed that some of our hotels do not accept Check-ins after 7pm.
It is essential to respect this information and arrive before the deadline.
Sunholidays reserves the right to charge the value of the total accommodation if it does not appear on the day of arrival without prior notice.
The prices shown in Sunholidays are per hotel unit, per accommodation and per night.
The prices include bed linen, towels, cleaning services in and out, water, electricity, gas, (with exceptions excepted), Please note that a supplement may be applied for use of air conditioning, intermediate cleaning, change of towels
and sheets, other facilities of the unit, being informed in advance or when requesting such service.
Some units advertised by Sunholidays require a damage deposit of 200Eur to 500Eur.
This security deposit is used to protect the owner from any possible damage or noise claim, or any other unpaid charges.
This amount will be requested on the day of arrival, but previously informed when making the reservation, together with the remaining payment missing.
The same security deposit will be returned within 3 business days after the date of departure.
It will only be returned in full if there is no damage.
In the event that the guarantee proves insufficient to pay the totality of the damages, Sunholidays reserves the right to impute to it the remaining missing payment.
If abusive behavior occurs during your stay, you must leave the hotel and search for an alternative accommodation, assuming the costs.
Stays up to 7 nights only have cleaning on the day of entry and the day of departure.
In some lodgings there may be a cleaning service and a change of clothes.
Stays of 14 nights, have cleaning with change of towels and sheets.
If you require extra service, ask for it on the unit itself, paying extra.
Cribs / infant beds:
Advance notice is required.
Please be advised that some of our units do not have such an extra service.
Additional charges will be applied.
It is your responsibility to ensure the safety and care of all persons included in your reservation and if needed, take the necessary precautions.
In particular, make sure that children are supervised all the time. Actions of children are responsibility of their parents.
If your behavior cause any kind of discomfort, damage, or disturbance to the unit where you are, we reserve the right to terminate your holiday and if applicable call to local authorities.
